Phoenixville Hospital Donates $25,000 To American Heart Association
The money was painstakingly raised by a small group of hard working volunteers. Well done!

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Physicians, nurses and staff at Phoenixville Hospital raised more than $25,000 for the American Heart Association in support of GO RED for Heart Health month in February.
The money raised will be used for education and regional heart health initiatives.
The hospital’s GO RED committee put together a jam-packed schedule of education events and fun activities throughout the month that included: a dinner dance, heart healthy dine-out events and bake sales, scarf sales, a Zumbathon, bowling parties and presentations at local schools, churches and community organizations.

Clinical Nurse Manager Kathy Clarke, who led the hospital’s GO RED efforts, joined members of the committee to deliver the check to representatives from the American Heart Association.
