
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Phoenixville Hospital Thrift Shop recently announced a series of major donations to local charities and organizations around the area.
The Thrift Shop, which is staffed by volunteers, has donated more than $896,000 in its 43-year history, according to the hospital.
During a recent donation ceremony, the shop's president Janet Reading presented members of each recipient organization a check.

Organizations that received donations included Ann’s Heart (Code Blue Ministry), Baby’s Breath, Phoenixville Hospital Cancer Center, Community Health Education & Outreach, Healthcare Access Program, ,Mom’s House, Orion Communities, Phoenixville Area Community Services, Phoenixville Community Health Foundation, Phoenixville Women’s Outreach – The House , Senior Adult Activity Center, St. Mary's Franciscan Shelter, The Clinic, and The Daniel Foundation.
The Thrift Shop is located on 238 Church Street in Phoenixville.
