The school said they would return to a normal schedule after the all-clear was given. All activities will proceed as scheduled Thursday.
"The Phoenixville Area School District thanks the all of the local and county police departments who responded and assisted clearing the building," the district said. "In addition, we thank the Phoenixville Area High School Administrators, Faculty, and Staff who were all instrumental in keeping students calm and safe during the evacuation."
The middle school was not affected by the threat, and students there continued their normal routine while the high school was evacuated.
