Phoenixville Jaycees Discuss Proposed Railroad Through Town
It's not the first time the idea for a passenger rail through Phoenixville has surfaced in recent months.

The Phoenixville Jaycees discussed the proposed railway through the borough during their meeting on Thursday night.
The Greenline at Great Valley was originally proposed several years ago and originally fell through, but there has been increased chatter lately about bringing some kind of commuter rail line to the borough.
Over the summer, an Ursinus College student won a competition at the school with a plan to alleviate Phoenixville traffic by converting the Phoenixville Industrial Freight Line to a passenger rail.
