Phoenixville Kids Got Talent! Features Local Stars

The fundraiser hosted by the Kiwanis club will include a total of 20 acts from local perfomers.

Are you a student who has a special talent? Do you like to sing or dance? Do you love to perform comedy routines? Do you play an instrument? Do you have any other special talent? If so, the Kiwanis Club of Phoenixville invites you to participate in our talent show – Phoenixville Kids Got Talent!

This talent show is open to all students in grades 4 – 12 who reside in the Phoenixville Area School District attendance area. The talent show will be held on Saturday, March 5 in the Covered Bridge Room of the Kimberton Fire Company. The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:00 p.m. This is a talent showcase, not a contest. A total of 20 acts will be selected to participate.

Students who are interested in participating may pick up an application at any school in the Phoenixville Area School District.

The Kiwanis Club is pleased to announce that Master of Ceremonies for the talent show will be reporter Tim Furlong of NBC Channel 10 in Philadelphia.

Presale tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for students. Tickets sold at the door are $20 for adults and $10 for students. No one under the age of 13 will be admitted without adult supervision. Tickets may be purchased from the Kiwanis Club website or by calling 610-935-1383. Guests who attend the show will also have the opportunity to purchase chances on a variety of individual and basket raffles.

Proceeds from this event will fund Kiwanis programs supporting children and youth. In addition, a portion of the proceeds will be used to fund services for premature and neonatal births at Phoenixville Hospital.
