Phoenixville Man Passes At 64; Left 'Cheerful Impact' On Everyone He Met
Phoenixville's William George Patrick Fender, 64, is remembered for his kindness, thoughtfulness, and intellectual habits.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- William George Patrick Fender, age 64, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 in the Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, Philadelphia, PA. Born on June 22, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky, he was a son of the late David and Gertrude (Quay) Leister.
Mr. Fender was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, and worked for many years as a master plumber. He was a great father and grandfather who was devoted to his family, who was always there to lend an open ear and some advice, and who always left a very good and cheerful impact on everyone he met. A very intellectual thinker, Bill was always learning, reading, and enjoying politics. He loved music and playing trumpet in a band, and was a Ham and CB radio operator. He liked astronomy, martial arts, anime, and his social media accounts.

Mr. Fender is survived by five children, Michael W., husband of Rachel Fender of Ann Arbor, MI, Amanda L. Ream, companion of Larry Kraft of Hereford, PA, Sara A., wife of Bobby Holman of Phoenixville, PA, Daniel D. Fender of Phoenixville, PA, and Nathaniel G. Fender of Dover, DE; four granddaughters, Carlie Holman, Emily Fender, Rachael Holman, and Paityn Kraft.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Condolences may be made by visiting www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
