Phoenixville Man Passes Away At 33

A young man's life was taken too soon. Rest in peace, Stephen J. Myers.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Stephen J. Myers, 33, of Phoenixville, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Born on June 16, 1983 in Bryn Mawr, he was the son of Heyward and Donna (Reed) Myers.

Steve was a graduate of Upattinas School in Glenmoore. He was employed as a technician at Black Forest Auto in Phoenixville. Steve loved winter sports, especially snowboarding, and riding motorcycles. He also had a love for BMX, and when younger, spent hours practicing bmx tricks on the trampoline. He enjoyed basketball and skateboarding. He was also a huge Boston Red Sox fan. Steve was great with children and loved time spent with his nephew.


In addition to his parents, Steve is survived by his sister: Amanda Myers, fiance of Ronnie Davenport, of Phoenixville; nephew: Liam Frank; paternal grandmother: Jean Grady, of Paoli; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 4:00 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated by AnneMarie Pirelli. Friends will be received from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Steve's name to Gaudenzia Inc., Community Affairs Department, 106 West Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401.
