Phoenixville Man Pointed Gun During Fight At Eagles Parade: Cops

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A Phoenixville man pointed a handgun at another man during an altercation at the Eagles Super Bowl parade in Philadelphia, police said.

The incident occurred on Thursday, Feb. 8 at around 1:55 p.m. at 20th and Logan Circle in Philadelphia.

Frank Pike, 32, of Phoenixville bumped into another man and words were exchanged, police said. Pike then lifted up his jacket to show his gun and asked if there was a problem, according to authorities.

Shortly thereafter, the pair began to yell at each other, and fans at the parade broke it up.

But the détente didn't last long. Pike returned again, this time pointing the gun at the other man, police said. The man then punched Pike and put him in a headlock.

One of the other men was able to take Pike's gun away during the altercation, and then ran to get police. The Pike broke free of the man and fled.

Pike, missing his gun, then reported it missing with the Philadelphia Police Department the next day. He told cops that he'd last seen it during the parade.

Police issued an arrested warrant for Pike on Feb. 17. He turned himself in later that day. He's been charged with aggravated assault, risking a catastrophe, terroristic threats, simple assault, and related counts.
