Phoenixville Man, Soccer Aficionado, Active Community Member Dies At 41

Phoenixville's Wilfredo Alberto Perez Y Perez was a "peacemaker and happy human being, regardless of the situation."

Wilfredo Alberto Perez Y Perez, 41, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Phoenixville Hospital. He was the husband of Marilsa Felicita Barrios Lopez de Perez, of Flores Costa Cuca, Quezeltenango, Guatemala.

Born on September 27, 1975 in San Marcos San Pablo, Guatemala, he was a son of Jose Patricio Perez Bamaca and Vincenta Octavia Perez Escobar.

Wilfredo was a very active member in his church, Manuntiales de Vida Eterna, where he served as an usher and Sunday school teacher. He also served missions within the Church and often traveled on the weekends to visit other Churches. A peacemaker, Wilfredo was a happy human being, regardless of the situation, with an ever present smile on his face. He was always willing to help when someone need a hand. He loved to play soccer.

In addition to his wife and parents, Wilfredo is survived by his sons: Erick David Perez Barrios, Kelvin Eduardo Perez Barrios and Bryan Alexander Perez Lopez, all of Guatemala; sister: Viliam Perez, of Phoenixville; brothers: Jose Perez, of Phoenixville, Gomer Perez, of Phoenixville, Benjamin Perez, of Minnesota and Delmi Perez, of Chicago; and three siblings in Guatemala. He was preceded in death by six siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 7:30 pm. Officiating will be Pastors Oscar and Melvi Cocar Friends will be received from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Cementerio Municipal Flores Costa Cuca, in Guatemala.
