Phoenixville Man, Ursinus Grad Who Served in Marine Corps, Passes At 51
Joseph Tornetta, a Phoenixville man and Ursinus College graduate, has passed away at age 51.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Joseph Anthony Tornetta, age 51, husband of Kayne M. (Harbison) Tornetta, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on April 8, 1965 in Norristown, PA, he was a son of Charles and Joan (Benne) Tornetta, of Limerick, PA.
Mr. Tornetta served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a graduate of Phoenixville High School and attended Ursinus College, where he wrestled at both the high school and collegiate level. He worked for over 30 years as a delivery driver for UPS. He loved to play and coach ice hockey, and was currently on a team at Center Ice in Oaks, PA. Spending time with his son brought him great happiness, and they enjoyed playing the guitar and listening to music together, playing in and creating their own sports leagues, and playing video games. Mr. Tornetta liked to vacation in Avalon, NJ, and was known for his Italian and burger cooking abilities.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Tornetta is survived by one son, Maximillian A. Tornetta of Phoenixville, PA; one brother, Thomas Tornetta of Limerick, PA; Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law Irene and John Harbison of Glenside, PA; Two Brother-In-Laws, Sean and Sue Harbison of Philadelphia, PA and Gavin and Amanda Harbison of Laguna Hills, CA; Two Sister-In-Laws, Megan and Peter Walker of Santa Clara, CA and Maura Harbison of Chestnut Hill, PA; two nieces and one nephew. Mr. Tornetta was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Tornetta.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph A. Heim. Burial will be held in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received on Thursday evening, February 16, 2017 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Friday morning, February 17, 2017 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc.
