Phoenixville May Health Inspections: Liberty Union, Crowded Castle, Taco Bell, Acme, And More

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The May reports are in: the Chester County Department of Health has inspected 20 restaurants and eateries around Phoenixville, roughly over the past month. That includes the time period of May 1 through May 31.

Of those 20 establishments, 11 had violations of some kind. Loyal Order of Moose led the way with 10 violations, followed by Liberty Union Bar and Grille with nine. The Moose had violations like improper labeling, lack of thermometer, broken door hinges, and unclean interior. Liberty Union did not have proper food labels on bulk dry goods, had stored food less than six inches off the floor, had condensation build-up in the walk-in cooler, and a mold-like growth on the drawer door gaskets.
