Phoenixville Native, 59, Went 'Out of Her Way to Help Others'

Cynthia A. Trego has passed away at 59. She is remembered for her dedication to volunteering and going "out of her way to help others."

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Cynthia A. Trego, age 59, companion of Armando D. Foster for 44 years, of Spring City, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at home. Born on April 29, 1957 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Ralph G. Jr. and Rose M. (O'Connell) Trego.

Cindy was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Embreeville State Hospital Pennhurst State School and Hospital. As a person who would go out of her way to help others, she volunteered with the Project Outreach food pantry in Spring City. She loved cooking for her neighbors and friends, hosting family gatherings and meals, and spending time with grandchildren.

Cindy is survived by one son, Ian Z., husband of Dana M. Trego of Plymouth Meeting, PA; two sisters, Denise M., wife of Keith W. Bliss of Spring City, PA and Michelle E., wife of the late Jeffrey S. Chapman of Royersford, PA; two brothers, Ralph G. III, husband of Jacqueline L. Trego of Spring City, PA and John A., husband of Cynthia R. Trego of Spring City, PA; and two grandchildren, Ian Zaine Jr. and Alanna Trego.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Rev. Paul D. Townsend. Burial will be held in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Spring City, Pennsylvania. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 10:30 am Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Project Outreach, 410 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468. Condolences may be made by visiting www.RoyersfordFuneralHome.com.
