Virginia Acito, 72

Virginia E. (LaSerre) Acito, 72, of Pottstown, PA and formerly of Phoenixville, PA, died on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Virginia was the wife of James R. Acito, Jr of Pottstown, PA.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth LaSerre.

Surviving in addition to her husband are son Wayne J., husband of Deborah Care Acito of Pottstown; son James R. III, husband of Kimberly Elliott Acito of Boyertown, PA; son Michael E., husband of Kimberly Proietto Acito of Phoenixville; daughter Michelle L., wife of James Vaile of Phoenixville; and eight grandchildren, Karalee, Christopher, Scott, Nicholas, Joseph, Shane, Dylan and Ethan; brother, Walter LaSerre of Northampton, PA.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James and a sister, Barbara.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 517 S. Main St. at Fourth Avenue,Phoenixville, PA, on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at 11 a.m.

Burial will be private.

A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name may be made to The American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Carolyn Ann Panzarella, 52

Carolyn Ann (McMahon) Panzarella, 52, wife of Richard D. Panzarella, of Limerick, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday evening, Jan. 19, 2012, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.  

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of Priscilla (Jackson) McMahon, of Providence and the late Terence P. McMahon.

Mrs. Panzarella was a graduate of Central High School in Providence and was employed as a production control supervisor for Monet Jewelry, Crystal Brands Jewelry Group and All State Fabricators; all in Rhode Island. She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Parish in Limerick, PA.

In addition to her loving husband and mother, Mrs. Panzarella is survived by two children, Adam and Leah Panzarella, at home; her siblings, Sharon Cresci, of Smithfield, RI, Debra Paiva, of Coventry, RI, Patricia McMahon, of Cranston, RI, Terence M. McMahon, of New York City, NY, and Kevin James McMahon, of Providence, RI.

Carol’s hobbies included cooking, entertaining, reading and travel. Carol also enjoyed doting on her sixteen nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial celebration on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 12 p.m. at the Portuguese American Social Club on 40 Fanwood Ave., Smithfield, Rhode Island.
