Frederic Bilger, 86
Frederic Andrew Bilger, 86, husband of Marian M. Bilger, of South Coventry, PA, died peacefully of natural causes on Wednesday morning, Feb. 1, 2012 in his home.
Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Leidy and Mary (Moser) Bilger Drumheller.

Mr. Bilger worked as a dye maker for Doehler-Jarvis for 46 years. He was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. Mr. Bilger was also a lifetime member of the Frontier Archery Club and the Roamer Hiking Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who tied his own flies.
In addition to his wife of 59 years, Mr. Bilger is survived by two daughters: Jacalyn, wife of Steven Beam of Delaware and Terri, wife of Robert Fitts of Florida; five grandchildren: Steven F.S. Beam and David F. B. Beam of Washington, D.C, and Abbi, Aubrey and Sam Fitts of Florida, and six step-siblings, located in various states.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at the Bethel United Methodist Church, 952 Bethel Church Road, Spring City, PA 19475 on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 11 a.m.
Officiating will be the Rev. Jacqueline A. Hines. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Rose Kurey Walters, 83
Rose (Slagan) Kurey Walters, 83, wife of the late James Walters, of Phoenixville, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, in the Pocopson Home, West Chester.
Born in Scranton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Alex and Anna (Kushner) Slagan.
Mrs. Kurey Walters was employed as a manager at ABM (American Building Maintenance) in Center City until her retirement in 1996 to Phoenixville. She enjoyed trips to the casinos and playing Bingo with her group of friends.
Rose is survived by one son, Michael Kurey Jr., of Lansdale; three daughters, Roseann wife of Edward Tretina, of Tabernacle, NJ, Deborah wife of Thomas Smialkowski, of Bridesburg, PA, and Denise wife of Theodore Moore Jr., of Phoenixville; grandchildren, Rachael, Lauren, Lindsey, Lisa, Tracy, Melissa, Jennifer, Teddy, Nicole, and Drew; and great grandchildren, Colbie and Lily.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Maryrose Moore and her longtime friend and companion, Michael Kurey Sr.
Funeral services were held privately at the family’s convenience.

Vincenzo Garone, 89
Vincenzo Garone, 89, husband of Elizabeth (Bucalo) Garone, of Phoenixville, formerly Toms River, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, in his residence.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Josephine (Romano) Garone.
Mr. Garone was employed as an elevator mechanic and was a 60 year member of the Local #3 Union I.B.E.W., of Queens, NY.
He enjoyed watching TV, bowling, shooting pool and music. He often enjoyed singing karaoke, especially Frank Sinatra songs.
In addition to his loving wife of 63 years, Mr. Garone is survived by two sons, Vincent J. Garone, husband of Susan Prouty, of Phoenixville and Michael T. Garone, husband of Lee Garone, of Portland, OR; and four grandchildren, Katherine, Andrew, Natalie and Amelia.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
