Phoenixville Police Work With Local Criminal Justice Students

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Phoenixville officers helped prepare students for upcoming exams by reviewing the technical side of police work, the department said.

Sgt. Brian Marshal and Sgt. Pat Mark were on hand at the Technical College High School’s Pickering Campus this week as guest speakers.

Marshall went over Pennsylvania laws regarding search warrants and arrest warrant procedures.

Mark, meanwhile, presented on the organizational structure and the chain of command within a police department. He also spoke on the proper use of force.

“Both officers selflessly give their time to the students and for years have provided support to the TCHS Pickering program and campus,” said James Sharkey, Criminal Justice Instructor at Technical College High School.

TCHS Pickering is located at 1580 Charlestown Road in Phoenixville.
