Phoenixville Resident, Former Chemistry Professor in China, Passes Away
Phoenixville's Wenya Zhuang was born in China in 1937. She enjoyed planting flowers, cooking, and taking family trips.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Wenya Zhuang, age 79, wife of Yimin Dai, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of China, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at home. Born on January 28, 1937 in China, she was a daughter of the late Baolong Zhuang and Xiaxiang Chen.
Mrs. Zhuang lived most of her life in China, and had moved to the United States about 10 years ago. She had worked as a college chemistry faculty member in China, and she enjoyed planting flowers, cooking, and taking family trips.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Zhuang is survived by two sons, Hui Dai, husband of Pu Wang of Chicago, IL, and Jiong Dai, husband of Xiaochun Si of Phoenixville, PA; four grandchildren and one sibling. Mrs. Zhuang was preceded in death by three siblings.
