Phoenixville Restaurant Inspections Since March: Taco Bell, Sly Fox, And More
31 restaurants around Phoenixville have been inspected since March 1.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Thirty one restaurants have been inspected around Phoenixville since March 1, and 21 of them received violations of some kind.
Only three restaurants were out of compliance.
The Latino Mini Market's 21 violations led the way. The March 2 inspection resulted in violations including an empty paper towel dispenser at the employee hand-wash sink, missing labels on packaged fish and frozen items, debris on a produce shelf, wet wiping cloths not stored in sanitizer, and paper lining shelves under fruits and vegetables.

Other highlights included:
The local Taco Bell was inspected on April 2. Inspectors noted no cold water at the public women’s restroom sink, unlabeled secondary condiment containers, cleaning needed at self-serve soda stations, and grease with food debris on the floor behind the fryers.

Bella Napoli Pizzeria received its inspection on March 18. Violations included dirty dishes stored in the rinse basin of the three-compartment sink, wet wiping cloths left out instead of in sanitizer, cardboard lining storage shelves, and cleaning supplies blocking the hand-wash sink.
Sly Fox Brewhouse and Eatery was checked on April 3. Inspectors found absorbent cloths lining a cooler shelf, grease buildup on hood filters and under the hoods, plus grease and debris under and behind fryers and along the cook line.
Nook and Kranny Kafé was inspected on March 4. A to-go cup was being used as a scoop in the fruit container, no food probe thermometers were available, opened cans stayed in the cooler, and ceiling tiles above the fryers were not smooth or cleanable.
