Phoenixville To Run Cold Weather Buses Throughout This Week

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — While the district has not yet made a ruling on closings or delays for Thursday, cold weather buses will run if there is no cancellation.

Buses will pick up students at Gay and Hall streets at 7:10 a.m. and at Gay and Morris Streets at 7:12 a.m., the district said.

They will run on both Thursday and Friday, Jan. 4 and Jan. 5.

This information, of course, is subject to change in just a few hours time if the school district decides to cancel close due to the snowstorm expected to hit the region overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

Regardless of the total accumulation - which could range from three inches in parts of Chester County to seven inches in Philadelphia, per forecasters - temperatures are expected to be dangerously low, dipping down to just 8 degrees Thursday.
