Phoenixville School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — August is here, and the start of the school year is just around the corner. And now the Phoenixville Area School District has issued their official 2017-2018 calendar.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals, and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

8/28 - First Day of School, Community Cookout

9/1 - School closed

9/4 - School closed - Labor Day

9/21 - School closed - teacher in-service

11/6-11/7 - School closed - teacher in-service and Election Day

11/22-11/24 - School closed - Thanksgiving Break

12/25-1/1 - School closed - Christmas Break

1/15 - School closed - MLK Day

2/15-2/16 - School closed - Conferences

2/19 - School closed - President's Day

3/26-3/30 - School closed- Spring Break

5/28 - School closed - Memorial Day

6/7 - Last day of school
