Phoenixville School District To Shut Down Route 29 For Construction
Construction for new buildings at the Phoenixville High School campus will lead to a closure of Route 29.

Phoenixville, PA, -- Construction for new buildings at the Phoenixville High School campus will lead to a closure of Route 29, PennDOT has announced.
The closure will be in place between Pothouse Road and Campbell Lane in Schuylkill Township, officials said.
Construction for a utility installation will begin on Monday, July 18, and last until Friday, August 26, according to PennDOT.

Motorists heading north on Route 29 will be detoured to Pothouse Road, while southbound motorists will be sent to Nutt Road, Bridge Street, and Pothouse Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
