Phoenixville SD To Hold Town Hall Meeting On School Budget
The "interactive" event allows participants to act as school board members, offering input on what programs to add and what to cut.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Phoenixville Area School District will hold a Town Hall meeting next month to gain public feedback and workshop the next district budget.
Organizers said that attendees will work in small groups as acting board members to determine what programs remain, what programs are added, and what programs are cut, "based on your small group's priorities and the available dollars."
Public input will then be shared with the school board to consider as they deliberate the 2019-20 school year budget for Phoenixville.

The event will take place on Monday, March 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Manavaon Elementary School.
Registration is required. According to the event page, there are 40 slots for community members, 40 for elementary parents, 20 for faculty, 40 middle or high school parents, and 40 for students.
