Phoenixville Seniors Awarded Scholarships From PCEF

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Several Phoenixville Area High School seniors have been awarded scholarships from the Phoenixville Community Education Foundation, the group announced recently.

Graduating seniors Sarah Dathe and Hong Dinh received general PCEF scholarships.

Alaina DeLeone was awarded the Bob New Memorial Scholarship.

Laura Beery, meanwhile, won the PCEF Service Leadership scholarship.

Finally, Alicia Perez won the first Not By Myself Scholarship, donated by three class of 1967 alumni: Tom Perambo, Andre Thornton, and Bill Williams. The trio returned to town to present the award.

The awards are all worth $2,000.
