Phoenixville Student-Athletes Send Donations To Hurricane Harvey Victims

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Local student-athletes are not standing idly by while natural disaster rages in Texas and along the Gulf Coast.

Several Phoenixville Area High School athletic teams worked together to gather donations for victims of Hurricane Harvey.

All told, 20 boxes of clothes were put together and sent off south.

Girls and boys basketball and baseball, along with Coaches Thompson, Burnett, and Herman worked together on the project, the district said.
