WATCH: Phoenixville Students Win Award For Global Warming Animation
A pair of Phoenixville students won first place in the competition for their animation visualizing and explaining global warming.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- A pair of students at Phoenixville Area High School have been honored for their winning industrial arts animation by the Technology Students Association.
Phoenixville students Leah Kerry and Ashley Yang took first place in the animation category at the Region 5 Competition. Their competitors included powerhouses like Lower Merion, Welsh Valley, Downingtown, Quakertown, Council Rock, and others throughout the Philadelphia region.
Leah and Ashley's winning animation visualizes global warming, explaining key scientific concepts and major consequences. The animation can be viewed below:

According to their website, the TSA "was started by industrial arts teachers who wanted to provide opportunities for their students to be recognized for their accomplishments."
