Officers entered the Bridge Street home but Campbell leaped out of a second floor window, ran across Bridge Street, swam across French Creek, and hid on the property of the former Phoenix Steel factory, police said.

A search helicopter from the Pennsylvania State Police Aviation Unit circled around Phoenix Steel until around 2 p.m.

Along with the chopper, neighboring police departments and the Chester County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit assisted in the search, but Campbell could not be found.

His hair is currently longer than in the photo provided above, and he has a full beard, police said.

Officers were able to arrest the other assailant, Thomas “TJ” Hyden, 25, who lived at 378 Bridge Street.
