Phoenixville Suspect Has History Of Escaping Police

On Wednesday, Brandon Campbell eluded hordes of officers and a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter. It wasn't the first time he got away.

Late Wednesday morning into the early afternoon, police cruisers, officers on foot, and a helicopter from the Pennsylvania State Police scoured the Phoenixville area for wanted fugitive Brandon Lee Campbell.

Somehow, Campbell, 23 was able to avoid being captured. Police said he leaped from the second story window of a home on 378 Bridge Street, ran across the road, swam across French Creek, and hid for a time in the old Phoenix Steel factory before vanishing.

It’s not the first time that Campbell pulled off an improbable escape.
