A divided borough council approved the selection of Wolf Baldwin and Associates as Phoenixville’s solicitor during a meeting last week, according to the Pottstown Mercury.

The Pottstown-based law firm will take over legal duties from the previous solicitor, Friedman Schuman, following the 5-3 vote last Tuesday. According to reports, Wolf Baldwin will cost the borough $135 an hour for legal services and $165 for litigation, an increase from the $125-per-hour rate charged by its predecessor.
