Phoenixville Teacher Wins 'Heart Of Learning' Award
"He is a perfect representation of what it means to be an exceptional teacher."
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Out of thousands of nominations for more than 1,200 teachers across Chester County, Phoenixville's Scott Golightly has been chosen as the 2018 winner of the Citadel Heart of Learning Award.
The award is given each year to one teacher from each of the county's public school districts, as well as one from a private school and one from the Chester County Intermediate Unit.

"Mr. Golightly was nominated by multiple teachers, parents, and students, who cited his ability to connect with and help every child in his class reach their highest levels. We couldn’t be prouder of Mr. Golightly. He is a perfect representation of what it means to be an exceptional teacher.
Winners receive $500 to use in their classroom.
