Phoenixville Woman Goes Into 'Total Isolation' For 3 Months For Unique Game Show

After three months of no Internet and no contact with the outside world, they were asked: which news headlines are real?

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — For three months, a Phoenixville woman and four other strangers lived in total isolation in upstate New York, fully cut off from their phones, social media, the Internet, and any news from the outside world.

They returned to a unique challenge as part of a new Fox Nation reality show: which headlines from their time away were real, and which were fake?

The show, "Greg Gutfeld's What Did I Miss?," will cover the time period between Dec. 8 and Feb. 14. Phoenixville's Nancy Hornback was among the group that went into isolation.

"I don't even get to talk to my daughter, or my husband, or the rest of my family, or my friends, or my puppy dog," Hornback shared in a video she posted just before leaving. She appeared to be in good spirits.

The Venezuela conflict and capture of Nicholas Maduro, release of some of the Epstein Files, and escalations involving ICE and protesters are just some of the major global news items that the contestants would have missed from that period. There were also the various escalations leading up to the Iran war.

The three-episode series will air on Fox Nation on April 27, May 4, and May 11.

“If season one proved anything, it’s that real life can be more unbelievable than the wildest of tales," Fox Nation president Lauren Petterson said in a statement.

In addition to Hornback, other contestants include Raymond Borizki from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Victor Hugo from Freeport, Florida, Devika Seth from Southlake, Texas, and Sunny Mujovic from Hazle Township, Pennsylvania.

The winner of the contest receives $50,000.
