Phoenixville's Charlie Kay, 69, Business Owner And Bus Driver, Passes Away

Charles A “Charlie” Kay 69 of Phoenixville passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Seasons Hospice Phoenixville, Pa.
Born August 16, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pa to the late Charles and Matilda Kay. Raised in Phoenixville, He attended Saint Ann’s School and Saint Pius X High School.
In 1973 He moved to Birmingham Al. and started his custom tile and marble business, Creative Tile. He also, created a web page, CreativeTile.com which featured some of his work and video tutorials.

After retiring he returned to Phoenixville where he enjoyed driving a school bus for Eagle Wolfington.
He loved spending time with his daughter and grandsons. He also, enjoyed playing golf, cards and going to the casino’s with his close friends.

He is survived by his daughter Kim Kay and Grandsons Dakota and Landon Nix, all of Atlanta Ga. Four sisters Judie Hartz, Susan Jacobs, Peggy Limlaw and Carol Kay. He was preceded in death by a sister Dawn Kay Corrado.
