Phoenixville's Colonial Theatre New Wing Grand Opening

The Colonial Theatre will hold a grand opening celebration to commemorate its new wing in the adjacent Bank of Phoenixville building.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A grand opening celebration event to mark the Colonial Theatre's new wing is upcoming next month.

The new $8 million wing in the adjacent Bank of Phoenixville building opened last spring. The December event will honor campaign contributors and showcase the unique programming that defines the theatre.

“Our patrons, contributors and community were so patient and understanding during construction. But they were also very eager to see the finished wing, so we thought it was best to have a soft opening as soon as possible” Mary Foote, Executive Director of the Association for the Colonial Theatre, said in a statement. “Now that we’ve had several months to fine-tune our day-to-day operations, it seems like the perfect time to have an official ‘Grand Opening’ celebration and say ‘thank you’ to the donors who made it possible.”
