
Helen A. (Hill) Geist, 89, wife of the late Robert G. Geist, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 in her residence. Born in Westfield, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Helen (Boyd) and Norman Hill.
Mrs. Geist graduated from Centenary College and spent her life maintaining her family home. She was a great mother and grandmother, who always loved having parties, gatherings and family around whenever possible. Her home was always open and anyone was welcome to drop by. She was famous for her love of laughter and for making others laugh. Helen was a former volunteer for the Red Cross, enjoyed playing bridge, and was an artist who loved painting.

Mrs. Geist is survived by her children, Larry, husband of Kathleen Geist, of Lansdale, Mary Lou, wife of Mark Driver, of Phoenixville, Amy, wife of Geoffrey Wilson, of Phoenixville, and Steven, husband of Donna Geist of Royersford; grandchildren, Zack Driver, Sean Spollen, Peter Spollen, Brigid Spollen, Michael Matzik, Beth Matzik, Luke Wilson, Rachel Poth and Caitlyn Geist. Helen was preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne, wife of the late Joseph Spollen, and siblings, Elizabeth Hill, Norma Volckmann, Charles Hill and Stanley Hill.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:30 am at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Officiating will be Pastor Shan Cleck. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 10:30 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Helen’s name to a charity of choice.
