The donut-filled event runs through July 25.

The 87th Annual Kimberton Community Fair is attended by families, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens.
Now you can add United States Congressmen to that list.
U.S. Rep. Ryan Costello of Chester County attended the event as it kicked off on Monday.

Costello said on Facebook that he attends the Fair every year. This year, he did so as the region’s representative in Congress.
“As I do every year, last night I enjoyed the Kimberton Fair; hope to see many of you at community fairs over the next month!” he said on his Facebook page.

The fair will run until July 25 and is held at 762 Pike Springs Road in Phoenixville.
Described as a “must-visit” summertime event by the Phoenixville Town Dish, the fair includes rides, livestock competitions, fair food, and an utter abundance of donuts.
Raffle prizes, gate prizes, and a visit from the Phillie Phanatic on July 23 from 7 to 8 p.m. cap off the fair’s highlights.
The Phanatic will return on July 24 at 10:30 p.m. for anyone who may have missed him.
The exhibit hall will be open from 4 until 10 p.m. on weekdays and noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday.
