Phoenixville's Michael High, 35, 'Quick-Witted And Loving'

MICHAEL WILLIAM HIGH, 35, QUAKERTOWN Michael William High, CFA®, CFP®, 35, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Keli (Ridenour) High of Quakertown, to whom he was married with three daughters, Sophie 10, Nora 4 and Lucy 2.

Mike was born on May 3, 1980 in Phoenixville, and was the son of Michael B. and Candace (Duncan) High also of Collegeville.

He graduated from Perkiomen Valley High School in the class of 1998 and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems from LaSalle University in 2002.

At the time of his death, Mike was working as a Senior Portfolio Manager for Prestige Wealth Management Group in Flemington, NJ. As a Chartered Financial Analyst®, he loved following the markets and managing portfolios.

Mike also enjoyed spending quality time with his wife and three daughters. His quick wit was always evident when he was among family and friends.

He loved football and was named to the all-county team his senior year in high school. Mike was a fan of college football and was an avid follower of Penn State football.

Mike loved to read and was a quick source for any historic fact. He loved to run and visited the gym early each morning.

In addition to his parents, wife and young daughters, Mike is survived by his brother, Timothy High of Chatham, NJ, and sisters, Carrie Mullarkey of Collegeville, and Katie Cooney of Royersford; his grandmother, Marilynn Duncan of Collegeville; his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his celebration of life service to be held on Friday November 20 at 11 a.m. from the R. L. Williams, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. Skippack Pike at Cedars Rd. in Skippack.

Friends may call on the family on Thursday, November 19 from 5-7 p.m. and again on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his daughters’ education accounts.
