Phoenixville's Petrucci's Makes Special Water Ice Order For Breast Cancer Patient

Phoenixville, PA - One local business is showing its support for breast cancer patients in a special - and "delicious" - way.

Local woman Suzette Mako, who is currently fighting breast cancer and is working her way through rounds of chemothreapy, was treated to a special order of 6 quarts of Vanilla Water Ice.

The order was made for Mako as she prepares to undergo the upcoming treatments.

She says that the water ice is the one thing she craves when she can't eat or can't hydrate at all due to the side effects from the chemotherapy.

"This is the kind of business, the kind of people, who go the extra distance to make our community better," Mako said.

Petrucci's is located on 472 Nutt Road.
