Phoenixville's Red, White, And Brew Run Prepares For Even Bigger Event Next Year

The first annual Red, White, and Brew Run was held at the Phoenixville Foundry this Sunday.

The course started and ended at the Foundry and ran through town and the Schuylkill River trail.

Over 200 athletes completed the race.

Carl Blickle won the male competition in 17:01, while Josey Rupert was the top overall female in 20:26.

Proceeds from the event went to Activate Phoenixville, the Phoenixville YMCA and the Phoenixville Jaycees.

Event organizers said that thousands were expected for next year’s event.
