Phoenixville's VegFest Canceled For 2020
While the coronavirus situation is rapidly improving in the local area, this summer's VegFest has been canceled in Phoenixville.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — While the coronavirus situation is rapidly improving in the local area, this summer's VegFest has been canceled in Phoenixville, organizers announced.
"We are truly sad and will miss all of our vendors and the amazing community that comes out each year," the festival said in a statement.
The annual festival is one of many local events that close Bridge Street and draw large crowds of residents from around the borough and region.

Both the Dogwood Festival and the Spring Food Truck Festival were also canceled back in March.
VegFest plans to return for 2021.

Phoenixville has seen 158 cases of coronavirus and 21 deaths, as of Wednesday afternoon.
