Motorists along Pickering Road in East Pikeland had an interesting morning commute on Friday.
A horse was wandering down the road at a leisurely trot at about 8 a.m.

The horse appeared to be a “large workhorse,” according to police.
He also had a cropped tail. He is dark brown to black in color.

The horse is being cared for at a nearby home while authorities search for the owner.
