Pope Blesses Chester County Boy On Tarmac

Pope Francis halted his motorcade to bless Michael Keating, the son of Bishop Shanahan High School's band teacher, report says.

The Pope blessed a Chester County boy who suffers from cerebral palsy on the airport tarmac upon arrival to Philadelphia Saturday morning, NBC10 reported.

According to the report, Pope Francis halted his motorcade to bless Michael Keating, the son of Bishop Shanahan High School band teacher Chuck Keating. The school’s band performed for the Pope as he got off the plane in Philadelphia.

Michael is 10 and is confined to a wheelchair, the report said.
