Presentation In Phoenixville On RMS Lusitania
What we know and what we don't know about the historical ship.

The Phoenixville Public Library will host a presentation on the RMS Lusitania on Tuesday, September 8 at 7 p.m. in the Carnegie Room.
One hundred years after the World War I sinking of the Lusitania, historian Roger Arthur will discuss Germany’s justification for the attack, the loss of American lives and America’s response to the sinking.
In the process, he will describe accepted maritime traditions and practices involving shipwrecks and survivors, and address the legal, ethical and moral implications of warfare on civilians in a war zone.
