Phoenixville Man Killed After Being Struck by Train
A man was hit by a train south of Columbia Station in the borough, according to published reports.

A Phoenixville man died early Saturday morning after being struck by a freight train south of Columbia Station.
According to reports on the Pottstown Mercury website, detectives identified the man as Roger D’ambrosio, whose last known address was the 100 block of High Street.
The 38-year-old D’ambrosio was killed after a Norfolk Southern train traveling to Harrisburg struck him.

According to police, the incident occurred around 1:19 a.m. Saturday morning.
A Phoenixville police officer said Saturday night that the case is being investigated by Detective Sgt. Joseph R. Nemic, who was not available at the time.
