Route 29 Detour To Begin On Tuesday

Phoenixville, PA -- A detour of Route 29 will begin again on Tuesday as construction in the area of the new elementary school and early learning center gets underway.

The detour will continue through July 15, officials said.  

It will close traffic on Route 29 (Main Street, also known as State Street) from Pothouse up to Mobile Street. 

Pothouse Road will remain open during the detour, as will Route 29 south of Pothouse.
