31-Year-Old Driver Of Motorcycle In Route 202 Crash Dies, Police Confirm

Authorities confirmed Thursday that the 31-year-old Penn Valley man had passed away due to injuries sustained in the crash.

Authorities confirmed Thursday that a motorcyclist involved in a crash on Route 202 Wednesday has passed away.

The victim, a male from Penn Valley, was 31-years-old.

Investigators with the Westtown-East Goshen Police Association are still searching for answers as to what caused the crash, describing the case as "active."

The incident occurred at about 9:05 a.m. Wednesday near the 1000 block of Wilmington Pike, police said.

A 2013 Ford Fushion and 2016 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle were traveling south on Route 202 when the Ford's front bumper struck the motorcycle for undetermined reasons, according to authorities.

This caused the motorcyclist to be thrown from his bike. He landed on the center median, police said.

The driver of the Ford, a 25-year-old man from Trenton, New Jersey, was also taken to Paoli Hospital, where he was in stable condition after the crash, police said. He had been released as of Thursday night.
