'Smoke, Fire and Bravery: A History of Phoenixville's Fire Companies' Exhibit To Open

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- The Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area will open a new exhibit commemorating the history of the fire department.

"Smoke, Fire and Bravery: A History of Phoenixville's Fire Companies" will open this coming Friday, September 2.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Special Exhibit will run from September through November 2016.

The exhibit will feature photographs, documents and artifacts including many from the collection of Phoenixville Hose Hook & Ladder Company No. 1, that have never been seen by the general public.
