Bowen teaches History, and said on the show that she had the pleasure of teaching the "best students in the world."
Part of Bowen's prize is a week-long all-inclusive trip to the Dominican Republic for herself and her husband.
She said that now she had a taste for competitive game shows, and since participants can only compete once on Wheel of Fortune, she might look to other shows.
"Maybe I'll check out Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, or Jeopardy, or Price is Right," she said with a laugh.
