Stable 12 Vies To Get 'Underdog' Beer To Eagles Players At Parade
Phoenixville's Stable 12 brewery has cooked up a special "Underdog" beer for the Eagles. Now they're trying to get it to the players.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Phoenixville's Stable 12 brewery has cooked up a special "Underdog" beer for the Eagles. Now they're trying to get it into the hands of the players during Thursday's Super Bowl victory parade and celebration.
The brewers at one of the Phoenixville's stalwart craft breweries on Bridge Street cooked up the lager to celebrate the team's now famous status as underdogs: the Eagles were not favored to win any of their postseason games, from the Atlanta Falcons, to the Minnesota Vikings, to the New England Patriots.
And yet still, they prevailed.

Cans of the beer were marketed as a collector's item and quickly sold out, the brewery said.

However, Stable 12 saved a few cases of the Underdog lager just in case of a Super Bowl win, as Breweries in PA explains. Now, they're starting a campaign to make the Eagles players aware of the beer, and hopefully get it in the hands of the players during the parade on Thursday.
Here's the pitch made on Breweries in PA:
"Do you know a friend who knows a friend who once met Nick Foles? Maybe your uncle works in the Eagles PR department? Hell, maybe you just follow a bunch of players on social media. Either way do your part to help make this a reality. Send them tweets, letters, texts, DM’s, whatever it takes. Let them know that Stable 12 has some Underdog beer that they would like them to have at the parade. We’ll help get it started, below are some of the more active players on social media."
