Summer Reading Kicks off At Phoenixville Library
Summer reading begins today at libraries around the area. What are you reading this summer?

Summer is nearly here, and that means local libraries are launching their summer reading programs.
The summer-long event begins on Monday, June 13.
The Chester County Library system lays out the following guidelines:

- Beginning Monday, June 13th at 9:00 am register in person and pick up your materials in the Children's Room.
- Try to read every day from Monday, June 13th to Sunday, August 21st.
- Ask your librarians for great books to read.
- Use your calendar to keep track of the days you read or listen to books by filling in the total number of minutes you read each day, and you can become an Award Winning Reader.
- Bring your calendar to the Library as often as you can and earn a reward every time you have read for 15 days.
- Write a review and submit it to be entered in weekly drawings.
- Come into the Library between August 22nd and September 10th to receive your Gold, Silver, or Bronze Medal for reading all summer.
