Summer Stage Announces 2016 Lineup On Route 29

The Friends of Summer Stage and East Whiteland Township are inviting the public to celebrate their 5th annual summer concert series in Valley Creek Park.

Valley Creek Park is located on 361 N Morehall Road in Malvern.

Organizers said they are "dedicated to bringing high quality free music to for both residents and visitors."

Parking is available at the park in designated areas.

The series opens Wednesday, June 15 at 6:30 p.m. and continues each Wednesday night through July 6.

The schedule is as follows:

• June 15: PhillyBloco, two sets of hot Brazilian dance music
• June 22: Country Night with The Wallace Brothers and Hurricane Hoss
• June 29: Love Canon with special guest Chris Kasper. “Love Canon doesn’t cover the music of the 80s as much as kidnap it and take it on a bluegrass-tinged joyride!"
• July 6: The Weight, playing songs of The Band, featuring former members of The Band, Rick Danko Band & Levon Helm Band
