Suspect In Murder Of Phoenixville Teen Arrested: Cops
Breaking: One suspect in the murder of a Phoenixville teenager last December has been arrested, while another remains on the run.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — One suspect in the murder of a Phoenixville teenager last December has been arrested, while another remains on the run, authorities confirmed on Friday.
Robert McCoy III, 23, of Pottstown, has been arrested and charged with second degree murder and related counts, police said. One other suspect, 25-year-old Brian Corsey, is being sought by police.
Phoenixville Area High School freshman Jayson Ortiz-Cameron, 15, was shot and killed after an apparent robbery and drug deal gone wrong in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot on Dec. 27.

A vehicle containing the shooter arrived at the scene at about 7:15 p.m. and circled the parking lot, before backing into a spot at the back of the lot, according to officials. That spot had been agreed upon as the meeting spot between the two groups before the deal, the DA's Office said.

Ortiz-Cameron, along with his friends, approached the car, police said. What began as a conversation soon turned into a full blown argument. Within minutes, one of the men in the car pulled out a silver handgun and shot Ortiz-Cameron multiple times, according to the DA.
The vehicle then fled the scene, heading onto Milligan Street and vanishing from sight at about 7:24 p.m.
Ortiz-Cameron was later pronounced dead at Phoenixville Hospital.
