Texas Songwriter Brings Storied Talents To Phoenixville's Steel City
"Telling stories is embedded and ingrained in my DNA."

Phoenixville, PA -- Celebrated Texas songwriter Radney Foster will be performing at the Steel City Coffeehouse in Phoenixville on July 9.
Radney is known for his lyrics, which he writes both for himself and for other musicians.
His most recent record, Everything I Should Have Said, recorded in Louisiana at Dockside Studios, is "swampy and loose in all the right ways," according to publicists.

Foster, considered an "elder statesman" of Texas singer-songwriters, grew up herding cattle on horseback at his grandfather's East Texas ranch.
His exposure to music came from listening to border radio.

“My house in Del Rio was a mile from Mexico, so I heard everything growing up – from country to conjunto," he said.
In his thirty years in the business, he’s had 20 top ten singles – and a #1 in each of the three decades he’s been a writer.
